Two Additional Suspects Charged In Connection To Lancaster County Homicide
Deputies have charged two more suspects in connection to a deadly shooting on Pine Ridge Drive.
William Jones, 55, and Latoshia Kirkland, 41, both of Kershaw, were arrested Monday morning and charged with Misprision of a Felony. Jones was additionally charged with Accessory after the Fact of Murder.
Investigators say Kirkland, mother of suspect Ka’Darius Kirkland, lived in a home on Fork Hill Road near the site of the shooting. After identifying Ka’Darius as a suspect, investigators went to the home and spoke with Kirkland and Jones, Ka’Darius’ uncle.
Officials say the two lied to investigators about their knowledge of the crime, and the whereabouts of Ka’Darius.
Shortly after speaking with detectives, officials say Jones and Kirkland drove to a home on West 2nd Street in Kershaw to pickup Ka’Darius, Brennan Patterson, and Dorian Clyburn and drive them to Heath Springs.
Jones and Kirkland were both released on bond Tuesday afternoon.

The mother wounded in a shooting last week that left one man dead while her 4-year-old was in the back seat has been charged with child neglect and attempting to sell drugs.
Detectives say 30-year-old Jody Holt drove to Pine Ridge Drive with Vincent Lambert, Jr. and her 4-year-old son last Thursday to sell drugs to Brennan Patterson, Ka’Darius Kirkland, and Dorian Clyburn.
During the meet, the three suspects allegedly tried to rob Holt and shots were fired. Lambert and Holt were both hit, but the child was uninjured. Lambert died at the scene.
Before deputies could arrive, officials say Holt attempted to hide the drugs. They were later found by investigators.
Holt is charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana and Unlawful Neglect of a Child.

Deputies say Brennan Patterson, Jr. was taken into custody without incident around 1pm Thursday at a home on Locustwood Avenue.

Deputies say a second suspect in the May 10th deadly shooting of a man, woman and child turned himself in Tuesday afternoon.
19-year-old Ka’Darius Kirkland is charged with Murder and two counts of Attempted Murder.
Investigators say warrants have also been issued for 17-year-old Brennan Patterson, Jr. He also faces charges of Murder and two counts of Attempted Murder.
Patterson is described as a black male, six feet tall, 140 pounds. Officials say he is associated with addresses on East Gay Street in Lancaster and Chesterfield Avenue in Great Falls.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.

LANCASTER, S.C. — Deputies say they arrested a 16-year-old for a murder that happened on May 10th. Investigators say Dorian Clyburn, 16, of Lancaster, has been charged with murder and two counts of attempted murder.
Clyburn is accused of shooting into a vehicle that was occupied by a woman, man and a four-year-old child. The woman was taken to a local hospital where she is recovering from her injuries. The man, later identified as Vincent Lambert, Jr., was pronounced dead on the scene. The child was uninjured.
The victims were reportedly driving down Pine Ridge Drive off Fork Hill Road when Clyburn fired numerous rounds at them, according to a news release. No motive has been released.
