Visit York County, S.C. Hosts Largest Basketball Tournament In Charlotte Area This Weekend

YORK COUNTY, S.C. —  Visit York County, S.C. will co-host the Queen City Athletic Association (QCAA) Rumble this weekend, May 18-20.

The Queen City Athletic Association will bring premier basketball talent to York County, SC for The Rumble where many of the games will be played at Clover High School, Fort Mill High School, Nation Ford High School and York Comprehensive High School.

The QCAA has hosted The Rumble, its largest basketball tournament, in Charlotte, NC for the past 16 years. There will be nearly 200 hundred teams from various states throughout the southeast including teams from AL, DC, FL, GA, MD, NC, SC, TN, VA, and WV. Over half the teams will play in area schools for The Rumble.

“Having the QCAA Rumble back in York County, SC is huge for the community,” says Andy Clinton, VP of Destination Services for Visit York County, SC. “The restaurants and hotels near the participating high schools are going to see a great benefit by having the tournament close by.”
